An orchard garden exploring the unlikely and fertile meeting of Mediterranean and tropical plant communities on the volcanic soils of Antigua. The design responds to the owners' deep longing for their Mediterranean homeland, weaving Jewish themes and sensibilities into a Central American landscape. Rainwater harvesting and graywater recycling systems are woven into the design as quietly and naturally as the planting itself.
