As part of my work at Starr Whitehouse, I worked on the revitalization of the Public Square in Hudson's historic district, I worked alongside the NGO Friends of the Public Square through community surveys and public design charrettes. Four alternatives were developed for the historic fountain restoration: one faithfully reconstructed from archival photographs and postcards; a simplified modern version preserving the original basin dimensions; a design drawing on Hudson's historic drinking trough; and a fourth retaining only the lower basin.
