Palynological reconstruction of vegetation, climate, and agricultural land use surrounding the ancient city of Megiddo across two millennia of the Bronze and Iron Ages. Systematic archaeobotanical pollen analysis documents shifts in regional paleoclimate, agricultural practices, and horticultural cultivation that shaped one of the ancient Levant's most strategically significant cities and its relationship with the surrounding agricultural landscape.
